My first name is Sarah, which about every third woman of my age is called, and people still somehow manage to spell it wrong.

I'm probably justified in this, but I do not like the PS4 internet browser. My laptop crashed (Completely kaput) and so I've had to use my PS4 to get online and it's so clunky. I've got a kyboard hooked up to it but it's still terrible. Especially Facebook. It doesn't send messages from the main screen, I have to go into the messages page itself. And normally I like to keep a tab open playing music on Youtube. Forget that, if I go two screens over it stops playing it. Worst thing though? Starting a new paragraph. Can't do it on the keyboard, I have to switch over to my control pad.

There's this cheese dip my mom saw being made on the cooking channel once and, like she's prone to do, she made me look up the recipe. Now whenever we have a gathering at our house or somewhere else, she always tells me to make it. One of the main ingredients is mayo, so I can't even eat it, but that never stops her from nagging me to make it. I really don't get what her deal about it is, or why she can never make it herself. When I ask, all she does is give me the same dumb as hell answers, either "Because you're so cute." or "Because you make it better." Ugh! We're visiting some old navy friends of hers for a few days, and they're all on my case because I won't make the crap. Apparently getting off their asses long enough to find the recipe themselves and follow it is just too much work for any of them. I swear, I'm going to grab that freaking mayo jar and throw it at the head of the next person who bitches at me about it. I am really not in the mood to be hassled tonight...

Here, a flamethrower for you. You're totally justified in being annoyed by that!
Something that annoys me every time I see it: You know those small slips of paper that are on the other end of a teabag's string? I want to scream every time I look at one of those to find out how long I have to let the tea steep, and find out that there's NO TIME printed on them, but a gazillion pretty flowers or something. Because that's about the only reason for printing anything on them, to tell you what kind of tea you're drinking, and how long it has to steep. But nope... not every company gets that, and then I have to go find the box again to find out... or dig the little paper bag out of the trash, if it has a little paper bag. Icing on the cake: One particular company doesn't print the time on the labels, but inspirational bullshit like "Seize the day" or "With a calm mind, you can master your life". I'M NOT FUCKING CALM IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME MY BREWING TIME!!!

I'M NOT FUCKING CALM IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME MY BREWING TIME!!! I never knew those came with instructions on the paper thingie. I always just left the bag in the cup until I was done drinking it. Granted, I drink it quick, so it doesn't really have time to over steep. On another note... Black Friday sales annoy me. All these stores have the same things on sale, they stay on sale pretty much through Christmas, the deals aren't that great, and they are just an excuse for people to act out badly and have it be okay because of reasons. But that could be my 11 years of retail have exorcised all my christmas spirit.

I'll tell you what annoys me most about those paper teabag tags. The way they always end up in my freaking tea! Grr!
Oh yeah, and it really pisses me off that we now have Black Friday sales in the UK. We don't even celebrate Thanksgiving!

Good news on the Black Friday front. By all accounts it was a complete washout in the UK. Turns out one year of America-style shopping was enough.

They do understand that Black Friday is a day off for office-dwelling Americans which is why they can spend the day shopping. Why would you try to do Black Friday on a day people don't have off?

I have a policy to never talk about religion or politics with my coworkers, because there's no red X on the coworker so you can click out of the conversation; you gotta work with these people day in and day out, and the less I know about what they believe the better off everyone is.
However, I do have a coworker that unironically wants to vote for Trump, and I die a little inside every time she talks about him and how great she thinks he is. I have tried to drop little hints of "politics don't belong in the workplace," but she still goes on and on about it. Unfortunately, I don't feel I'm really in a position to complain to the higher ups, because that would just make things worse. So until Trump drops out or get kicked out, I've gotta quietly scream at her in my head when she goes on one of her little rants.

Being the only one in my German writers forum, who educates themselves with stuff like cultural appropriation is exhausting. Because, hey, what do we know about misinterpretation in Movies? After centuries of being casted as: Bavarian Nazis, Nazis, evil Arians and off course, the fat, wurst-eating comic relieve, from Bavaria. (seriously, I've never seen a Dirndl or Lederhosen in my live, outside from movies and pictures from the October Fest ) this rant was brought to you by the comment: Your post was overly moral! *rolleyes* Edit, Next post: "OH my god, this is so ridiculous! I will answer, as soon as I stopped laughing!" In high need to strangle arrogant stupid little fucks.

I sympathise, being the only female regular poster (as far as I can tell) on a sports forum. I get a lot of "you're taking political correctness too far" and "you're being totally oversensitive" whenever I try to explain what it's like to be female within a male-dominated environment of sports fans. Apparently it's not as bad as I think, because hey, I'm only a woman, what would I know about what it's like to be a woman?

Oh, that's even worse!
I am white, I can use my privilege to walk away from the discussion. I've said what I could, now the kids need to figure out, if they take the advice or laugh about it.
Can't force anybody, just give them something to think.
I won't check the thread again, it's no use. But, I did report the "ridiculous" kid, since she is one of the forums moderators and they did mess up a short while ago, deleting similar posts, calling out our forums troll on his behavior, mostly worded much more thoughtful, and sending out a vicious pm, "Your post has been edited/deleted for trolling/offtopic, that is a violation of the forums conduct, you have been warned" (paraphrasing it best, hard to get the right tone translating it) Being a moderator, she needs to behave better and not open fire on forum users, she disagrees with. It is a position of power, after all.

Absolutely. If the moderators behave like that then the whole forum is at risk of deterioration.
