It is a great movie, I like it a lot! But, there is only one true Captain Jack and that is Captain Jack Harkness <3 (he probably smells better, too ;-) )

We'll figure something out (and no, I didn't walk out on you or forget you or something, I just had a minor dental procedure last week and my face still shines in the brightest colours imaginable AND my dentist somehow managed to give me a green-yellow-ish tinge around the eye). I think we'll just take this to PN or something and I'll write to you to fix a date when I know a bit more about my timetable in the next few weeks, okay? Ah, yes, I remember back when I got my wisdom teethes out... My face was swollen and colorful... Get better soon! Yes, we should change to pm, when we set a date.

That sounds awesome, I haven't been to a Maredo for a loooong time, and I've never really been to Bonn, too. Are there any sights worth it close to the train station? I don't know? I live there for 6 years now, but I don't go out much, I'd have to ask a friend or google.... My old hometown Essen would be easier for sight seeing, at least I know a few places in theory ;-)

Don't forget Austria... Austria: "Nah, that right-wing guy will never be president, all the other parties are against him." Bam. 49,8%. They're challenging the election's validity. Of course. And I live in Koblenz, so Cologne and Bonn are pretty do-able! I'm really tied up here until the end of the semester (got my linear algebra test on July 20th, and my brain will need a few days to recover from that), but after that, we could meet in either Bonn or Cologne, depending on what's better for you. I can get to both with my university train ticket I'm really looking forward to meeting you! Sounds great! Parking in Bonn is easier and there is a Maredo close to the train station

Yeah, the Brexit scares me too. And I don't like the foreshadowing to other events this year... I mean: Germany: "Hitler? Na, that guy is nuts, that'll never happen!" Russia: "Putin? No way, that'll never happen!" UK: "Brexit? Come on, no one could be this stupid!" USA: "Trump? No, that dement idiot will never win!" ... Vote, vote like it could be your last time being able to vote... glasschmetterling I think that sounds like a good idea! I mean, I am the one who found almost all of her RL friends on internet forums ;-) I live between Cologne and Bonn, this week I am at my parents place in the Ruhrgebiet. So if you're near by, we can definitly meet in person!

The lovely weather this summer... two weeks of this shit. And we did have luck, the really bad thunder storms with floddings and a tornado didn't hit us.

Germany got hit by several serve thunder storms over the last days, but I got lucky and they just passed by in the distance.
It did look cool:

*sigh* today I posted in a writers group on facebook:
"Hi, do we have members of color? I'm searching for a sensitivity reader! Paid."
First answer is from a white guy...
Like, really?

A Facebook Friend of me asked for stories, so I wrote down how I got my first Whippets and I thought, I might share it here as well. Because it's a really cute story:

My sister gave the dogs chicken covered in BBQ sauce (and a bagel covered in cream cheese) earlier tonight, and while Axel is supposed to have the more sensitive tummy, Rebel's the one who ended up throwing up twice. He also tried going back to eat it both times, which is something I've always found disgusting with dogs. Anyway, the first time my sister got stuck cleaning it up (in her usual overdramatic way), and then the second time I was stuck doing it. When I pushed Rebel back so I could clean it up, he growled at me and bit my hand. He's never growled at me before, but he has bitten me, though only enough to leave bruises. He seems to be feeling a lot better now, though, just snoozing away on the couch while Axel's snoring in his crate. He just walked right in there when I was on the computer earlier, which is weird because he usually avoids his crate until bedtime. So glad my little thieves have stomachs made of steel, they will eat food that's to spicy for most people, only wanting more ... Yoda checking for leftover coffee ;-)
